Mr. Goodwin has over thirty years martial arts experience, fifteen years experience in European weapons, and has trained or choreographed many of Hollywood's leading actors and actresses including: Ron Perlman, Eric Roberts, Illeanna Douglas, Charles S. Dutton, Rocky Carroll, Ving Rhymes, Matthew Hues, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He choreographed Jennifer Tilly's film, Relax, It's Just Sex. Other projects include the television pilot Night Life, the films A Breed Apart, Lord Protector, and fight choreography for Illeana Douglas in her Bravo movie, Boy Crazy, Girl Crazier, as well as the music video "What Did I Do to You" staring En Vogue singer Terry Ellis. For the theatre he has choreographed Off Broadway and regional theatre productions, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, East-West Players, Theatre Forty, and others. New Projects include the Swordmaster in The King's Guard. Founder of Tao-West Arts, Los Angeles, California. Direct lineage from Chen, Man-ching through Lo, Pang-jen (Benjamin), Robert W. Smith and Maggie Newman. Mr. Goodwin began studying T'ai Chi Ch'uan in 1977 and has been teaching for the past 17 years.
